EG AMERICA RAISES NEARLY $650,000 FOR DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS

ERLANGER, Ky. – EG America and its 1,700-plus convenience stores raised $647,000 during its national campaign in support of DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a charity dedicated to empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

Throughout the month of November, guests were encouraged to donate to DAV during checkout. Their contributions helped DAV provide benefits assistance, offer free transportation to VA medical appointments, assist in finding meaningful employment, and give financial assistance to members affected by natural disasters. The amount raised surpassed the previous year’s campaign.

“Since beginning a partnership in 2019, EG America has raised nearly $3 million in support of disabled veterans,” said DAV National Adjutant and CEO Marc Burgess. “I can’t thank the leaders at EG America, the store owners and the customers enough for their continuous support.”

“We are proud of the effort our team members put forth in raising a record amount of money for DAV,” said Josh Bradstreet, Vice President of Operation Services at EG America. “Many of our staff and guests are veterans, and this partnership allows them to give back in a meaningful way.”
